Learn to create compelling characters and fictional worlds in this new workshop, 'Fantastic Fiction!' by award-winning writer, M.J. Reidy.
 
You will learn: 
 
Exercises and prompts to bring those characters out of the closet.
Trialling different creative strategies to develop your fiction
How to build authentic, three-dimensional characters
How to develop compelling fictional narratives
Key elements of compelling fiction and editing basics.
Learn tips and tricks to make your fiction writing leap off the page.
We will also be briefly studying a short story, which you will be required to read prior to the workshop commencing.
 
In this fun and informative workshop, M.J. Reidy will also share some of her personal tips and tricks to create compelling fiction. Included in the workshop price, is a delicious lunch and beverage ( please advise if you have any dietary requirements).
 
This workshop is suitable for beginners to intermediate writers, particularly those who are wanting to experiment with short fiction for the first time.  
 
BYO: Pen, notebook, imagination and loads of curiosity! Please also bring a laptop if this is your preferred mode of writing.
